Privacy policy

This policy explains what data Anahnu.Club stores and how we use it.

What we store

When you sign up: your name, username, email address and password. The password is only stored in encrypted (hashed) form. If you sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive only your name and email address from them.

What you add yourself: profile details (picture, cover, about, city, country, website, date of birth, gender), posts, comments, photos, videos, events, likes, friends, private messages and blocks.

Technical data: when you were last active, your chosen language and theme, and your IP address when you send the contact form.

Why

Only to run the site: to show your profile and posts, deliver messages and notifications, and protect the club from spam and abuse.

Who sees your data

Club members can see your profile and posts. A post you share by direct link can also be opened by people outside the club. Posts in private groups are visible only to members of those groups. Private messages are visible only to the people in the conversation. Administrators may see data when needed for moderation.

Your email address is never shown to other members.

Automatic translation

The text of posts, comments and messages is sent to machine translation services (such as DeepL, Google Translate, Gemini or MyMemory) so it can be shown in the other site languages. These services receive only the text, without your name or email address, and use it only to translate it.

Calls

The video and sound of calls go directly between members’ browsers, encrypted, and are not recorded. The site stores only who called whom and when.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers. There are no ads and no third-party trackers on the site.

Cookies

Only essential cookies are used: your sign-in session, form protection, and your chosen language and theme.

Donations

Donations are made through PayPal. PayPal handles the payment details; we never receive them.

Your rights

You can change your details in your profile and settings. You can delete your account under Settings → Profile, which removes your profile and personal data. To get a copy of your data or have all your posts removed, write to team@anahnu.club or use the contact form.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date of the last change is shown on this page.
